Sindhuja Manda

Clinical Intern
Hi, I’m Sindhu, and I’m a counseling intern studying at Vanderbilt University. I’m extremely proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community and a Neurodivergent South Asian American. It has been a long journey to navigate through all my experiences, which I believe play a huge role in the therapeutic space. As a child of immigrants, I’ve viewed culture as a large factor for how one walks throughout life, and I hope to explore and celebrate each person’s culture in our time together. Being able to work with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks is a huge reason why I chose this field, and I am forever committed to uplifting members of my community and working towards healing. I want to create a safe, growth-oriented space for you to explore who you are, what is important to you, and how to navigate life in this ever-changing and stressful world.
I am excited to learn about and explore all the intricacies of who my clients are. With me, you will find a curious, empathic, and supportive space to heal and grow. I aim to work as a team to explore your sense of self as an individual and through the collective. I want to help you grow according to your values/goals and find what develops meaning and purpose in your life.
In my spare time, I love to engage with the greater Nashville community, pet cats, spend time with my friends and family, and do art/music!
