“I have lived in Nashville for twenty years and deeply value serving this community. I believe the first step in our healing journey is to pursue self-awareness and better know and accept ourselves. Most of the family systems we were born into didn’t always teach us to hold space for a deep connectedness with our inner world. It is my hope that we can practice this in therapy.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community I have come to deeply value the healing power of trauma work and have always known I wanted to help others achieve healing. I take a psychodynamic approach and have been trained in Brainspotting, a tool used to process trauma and treat PTSD. I want to help people see how their past is affecting them presently and equip them with the tools to live a healthy life. I love to work with clients as a team to find patterns, make meaning of thoughts and behaviors, and learn new ways of being.
In my spare time I love to travel, do yoga, create art, and play with my dog, Arya.”
