Lily Spaeth

(she/her)

Clinical Intern

Hi! I am Lily, a counseling intern studying at Trevecca Nazarene University. I am passionate about helping people better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and build lives that feel authentic to who they are. My own experiences have taught me the importance of having space to ask difficult questions, explore identity, and discover what values and beliefs feel meaningful.

Having spent most of my life in conservative religious environments, I care deeply about reconciling faith and identity, especially for those of us who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am also particularly enthusiastic about working with individuals who are neurodivergent. As someone who is part of both the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities, I know what it feels like to hide parts of yourself in order to fit in, feel accepted, or meet others’ expectations. I strive to create an empathetic and nonjudgmental environment where you can show up authentically and work toward meaningful growth.

I am especially passionate about working with children and adolescents, while also welcoming adult individuals and couples. My goal is to offer a supportive, affirming, and curious space where clients in all stages of life feel safe to explore, grow, and build a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.

In my free time, you can find me cuddling with my cat, Peanut, listening to audiobooks, traveling, and enjoying game nights with my friends and family.
