We all desire - and deserve - to be seen and celebrated for who we are. However, we can often get in our own way, putting heavy burdens and unrealistic expectations on ourselves and believing them to be true and necessary. We convince ourselves that our lives won’t change, that there’s something wrong with us, or that we don’t deserve better. We hide and twist ourselves to please everyone else, we get really good at pretending, or we start doing things that mask our pain, and we lose ourselves, our joy, and our connection to others in the process. I work with teens 16+ and adults of all ages and genders in their journey forward.
I help clients to identify the barriers and unhelpful stories that are keeping them stuck, and slowly peel back the layers so they can start to see their truth, their worth, and their potential. I believe that all people have the strength and courage to do this hard work, but sometimes the work is just too scary and disorienting to do it alone.
I believe good therapy - and a good life - invites your mind, body, and spirit. I believe that your darkest moments don't define you, but can help to shine light on what you value most. I believe that the work we can do together is always better than the work we can do alone, and I would be honored to partner with you.
