Being a mixed woman in America has definitely been hard over the years. For me, I have struggled with fitting in since the day I was born. Having people stare at my parents when I was younger just because my white mother loved a black man has played a huge role in my advocacy of minorities and the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone deserves the right to live their life with the one they love. I know that life and finding a sense of belonging can be so hard. As a plus sized, mixed woman this is something that I struggled with for years. I battled to figure out who I am and where I fit in this world. Turns out, I was born to stand out.
In my work with YOU I want to hold space for you to figure out who you are and where you want to be. I enjoy listening to clients’ stories and giving them the tools to change their own narrative so that they can feel peace and ease in their lives. It is my mission to create a safe place for you to feel heard and understood regardless of how others may perceive you. Together, let’s stop the stigmas and begin to heal!
