Hi, I'm Amy (she/her), a counseling student intern at Lipscomb University. As a queer woman, I know how meaningful it can be to find spaces where you feel safe showing up exactly as you are. My own experiences have shaped how I show up as a counselor and deepened my belief that everyone deserves a place where they don't have to shrink themselves to belong.

I'm especially drawn to the complexity of people's stories and the many experiences that shape who we become. I believe our relationships, identities, cultures, and life experiences all influence the way we move through the world, and I feel honored to learn about each person's unique story with curiosity rather than assumptions.

My hope is to offer a warm, collaborative space where all of you is welcome, including the parts you love, the parts you're still figuring out, and the parts you've learned to hide. Together, we'll explore what matters most to you, make sense of your experiences, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and connected.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy hiking, discovering new music, attending concerts, ice skating, and spending time with my partner and our cat, Toblerone!
